Drinji Ikari Post

Greetings all.  Drin here, trying to steal some of Jimmy's work from him. I never use computers or else I would be on here posting and doing those sorts of things.  I'm dog sitting for the week/weekend, goofing off, playing too much DayZ, and trying to do some internet shit while I'm here.  I'm sure Jimbo keeps things updated rather well, but just for the sake of feeling important...I'll do my best.

Who are willing to draw close LP will be here next month...crazy.  We are all so stoked. Nevin is the fucking best.  If you haven't go check out IFB records and support something that's deserves support.

Tour is coming along.  That's mostly Jim's beast, on account of my lack of networking ability's/people skills.

Other than that awesome junk, Ive been (attempting) to catalog every release ive ever been apart of on my blog, with downloads and all that.  I actually got more done than I thought I would. At least 2006-2012.   Don't know if ill go farther back than that.  Maybe I will find some funny ones and post them(TPS).

 Though I could'nt get a hold of Quietus.  So whoever has the artwork and tracks, send them to me!

SO, if you feel so inclined, there is a separate section on my blog with all of those.  Also will be adding more stuff and things this week.

This has been my command center for the past 2 days, probably about 20 hours. Dual computers for emailing, updating blogs, tour routing, Photoshop for the LP, Photoshop for the art book. Phone to call, text, inform folks of all these ridiculous happenings. I also uploaded 3 gigs of info from my phone to the computer.  A puppy to watch my back for safety purposes.  I am the multitasking god!

Exciting news

Howdy folks! There is a bit of new information that needs to be relayed to y'all! First we have an LP coming out tentatively in October. Our friend Nevin from ifb records has been so kind to put it out for us! We're super stoked about this, and we're going to include a fun little art book with it. Thus far we have 5 or so pieces but there are several people working on things to go in it.  We also are going on tour from December 26th to January 6th. It's the most time we will be able to get out until next summer due to everyone's schedules. We also haven't stopped writing new music and we now have 4 new songs and another one in process. We are nearly out of debt which means we may be able to get you these new songs sooner than expected. Stay in touch there will be more news soon as everything develops. Thank you to our good friends John and Mike for the videos. Mike made the compiled footage video of our show in Bay City on July 7th and John did the live video with the incredible live sound of our show at the Suicide Garage in Grand Rapids on July 18th.

Hello.  We are not going on our upcoming east coast tour.  Instead we've decided to work on 2 new records, A dvd, couple weekend trips, and hopefully throw a couple shows around here. Last but not least, finally pay off our debt to this band.  Everyone has been real understanding and cool about us being mega poor.  Probably make things a lot more simple if we were not constantly doing 2 or more projects.
Anyway, we are writting a lot of really, really good stuff we think. I speak for all of us when i say we can not wait to record more, write more, and most importantly tour and play for new people more.

Great Success

With the completion of our NoMI tour we are all left with fond memories and bizarre happenings. We will put up a tour video and journal soon with highlights of our braving death by tornado and other nature induced euphoria. Also we will brief the high and low moments of each day. But in other news Adrian was bitten by a spider on the last day of the tour... he is doing better and is leaving for tour with Cloud Rat shortly. Also we are going to leave for another tour sometime in August. There is also a rumor of a split tape floating around. There are just to many things in the works right now that are too adolescent to be announced until they are flushed out further. Check back soon and we will have some more exciting news!

The beginning is nigh

New record done!

I was up until 4am last night getting the new record "Who Are Willing to Draw Close" done. I'm excited to say we will have it by tour and it is for sale on the right side of the page! We are so stoked on this album Alex did a fantastic job recording and mastering at BrightBlackEarth.tumblr.com! We leave for tour in exactly one week! This tour is going to be great! So many good bands, so many awesome cities. Can't wait till March!

Countdown to tour day!

We played our first show in ages at the Trumbullplex last sunday. It was a great show with awesome bands and people. It was a show to help amp up all of us for our upcoming tour. We are also super excited about the second half to concept album. The art is here and it is amazing, Grim Wilkins did a wonderful job once again! The music is all recorded and sounds incredible! Next step finish the vocals and we will be on easy street to having the second installment. The record will be called "Who are willing to draw close." So Stoked! The tour booking is coming along quite nicely and we cant wait to hit the road in one month!

Recording Album #2

We are excited to tell you that we are recording again! We will be in Alex Larson's Studio the 18th and 19th of January to record the second half of our double concept ablum. It's going to be called "…Who Are Willing To Draw Close". We've worked really hard on these songs and hope you enjoy them as much as we do! Hopefully it will be done in time for the Spring Break No PAreNTS Tour this march. Once Again we have the ever amazing Grim Wilken's on the creation of the cover art and we are very excited to see what he comes up with. If you come to the Trumbullplex On January 29th we will most likely be playing a couple songs from the New Record. We are also going to try and record the set from that night. More info on the tour will be updated as its booked! J
